We hope you'll join us and our other West Coast friends and family for a party to celebrate our new marriage. The party will be a casual reception at the Sequoia Lodge up in the Oakland Hills with plenty of opportunity to hang out. Children are very welcome, and there is a small playground right next to the Lodge. The space is indoor/outdoor and surrounded by redwood trees and eucalyptus - so it is likely to be cool even if the weather is beautiful. There is on-site parking for about 50 cars and we're checking to see whether it is OK to park along the road if the parking lot fills up (if you can, think about car pooling).

Driving Directions

Coming from Berkeley

1. Take the southbound Warren Freeway Highway 13.
2. Tunnel Road/CA-13 becomes CA-13 south.
3. Take the exit to the Joaquin Miller Road/Lincoln exit.
4. Stay to the left at the fork in the ramp.
5. Merge onto Monterey Boulevard.
6. Turn left onto Lincoln Avenue.
7. Turn left onto Mountain Boulevard.
8. Continue onto Mountain Boulevard.
9. Turn right at Sequoia Lodge.

Coming from San Francisco

1. Take the I-80 east ramp towards Oakland onto the Bay Bridge.
2. Highway 80 east to Highway 580.
3. Merge onto I-80 east.
4. Take the I-580 east exit towards 24/Downtown Oakland/Hayward-Stockton.
5. Merge onto I-580 east.
6. Take the Fruitvale Avenue exit.
7. Turn left onto Champion Street.
8. Champion Street turns left onto Lincoln Boulevard.
9. Right above Highway 13 turn left onto Lincoln Avenue.
10. Turn left onto Mountain Boulevard.
11. Go straight onto Mountain Boulevard.
12. Turn right at Sequoia Lodge.
